Human resources plays a crucial role in developing a company’s strategy as well as handling the employee-centered activities of an organisation.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base in human resources management and demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that human resources functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Two elective units must be selected from the Group A units listed below. The remaining one elective unit may be selected from the Group A or Group B elective units listed below.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT


This qualification is delivered completely online. The learners will be part of an online learning community as well as their own learning groups connected through an easy to use online learning platform.  This platform provides you with the convenience and flexibility of studying at home at your own pace and schedule while also being able to easily attend face-to-face tutorials with industry experts.

The learner facilitator interaction will mainly be online and email communication. The learners will have an opportunity to listen to and see the facilitator through the scheduled online tutorials.

The course is designed to reflect a real-life workplace context through online learning activities, face-to-face online tutorials with industry experts, workplace focused projects and practical tasks and assessments.

It is assumed that a considerable number of the learners enrolling in this course have either had some work experience or are considering starting out in a new job within the industry.

  • IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, OR Native English speaker
  • It will be expected of the learners to be proficient in the use of computer, internet and email
  • There is no minimum qualification requirement for entry into this course
